I'm looking for some Calico coated main/rod bearings for an LS7. I see BTR lists them but they are out of stock. Any other vendors have them?
If I'm doing a build where the customer wants coated bearings, I first order in the bearings that I want to use and measure oil clearances to make sure they're right, mix HX and STD if necessary, then send the set out to be coated afterwards. I like ACL for the mains and Clevite V series for the rods.

When you measure the bearings first, does that make the clearances tighter after the coating is applied? Or is it not enough to worry about.
