LS3 CSC Build in a C5
I am planning to go for 800+ WHP reliably and possibly even higher than that.
I would like to go forged LS3 - pistons/rods - crank while I'm there? As well as an F1A or similar.
Now for my questions - which mostly pertains to what exactly I'll need and links.
- For the LS3 - is it worth going stroker? Or with a blower build, would it be best to avoid this?
- Best place for LS3 short blocks that are forged? Stroked or not. I see a couple on ebay, not sure of the quality or best bang for the buck.
Supporting mods for those numbers..
- I would do heads, blower cam, exhaust/intake etc..
- What should I look for in heads?
- The car will be a street car/weekend cruiser/racing here and there on the street - so streetable cam would be ideal.
- Exhaust should be pretty straight forward.
Any concerns of going with this and swapping into a C5 vert?
