Straub rocker bushing kit how do you like them?
Straub rocker bushing kit how do you like them? I havent gotten around to installing mine yet but how do the people who have like them. Everything good with them.
Also My tuner recommended I get new rockers to put them in. I didn't think to ask if he meant to keep my Comp trunnion ones as a backup or because They have already had the bearings replaced once.

I would not buy new rockers because they are around $11 each and that adds a lot to the cost of doing trunnions. The new rockers would come with bearings from GM that need to be removed and replaced so I don't understand your tuners thinking. Carefully remove the Comp trunnions (pack some grease on the needles to keep them in place) and press in the Straub bushings. A lot of people (myself included) are still waiting to see how well they are wearing, but no-one has removed them yet for inspection.

Getting some feedback on the GTO forum. Sound like the straubs are the way to go. Summit has the LS3 rockers for $9.99 each. That's like $160.00. Some vendors are selling the straubs installed on inspected used rockers for around $320. Straubs are $159.95 and new LS3 rockers are $160.00. That's a total around $320 but you would have to install the straubs on the New LS3 rockers yourself. Which is simple. I would rather have new rockers because they would not have the wear pattern on the tip.
