Daily Driven with cam spring life??
Daily Driven with cam spring life?? Looking to put a mid size street able cam into daily driven beater 06/m6 goat with mid 30k miles . What type of spring life's are yall getting. I know driver use, and conditions are a the main factors. But what do yall think is a reasonable base estimation guideline of valve spring life? For example 228r tsp cam on a ls2 with supporting mods.
I'm looking at the tsp cam package with prc valve springs cai and tsp 1-3/4 LT.

It all depends on the lift of the cam and the spring you use. A cam with high lift is going to wear those springs out faster than a cam with a low lift like 55x vs where most LS cams are over 600 in on lift.
I totally agree. Some real world figures experiences/estimations will ultimately give some sort of idea on life expectancy. Cam specs sre 228/228 .600
I put 30k on a 228r and Comp 918 springs, many years ago. I wouldn't recommend that setup today though. Go with a milder lobe (comp XE, not the XE-R of the 228r), and run some PAC beehives.
Soft lobe from Cammotion and some PSI maxlife springs and I bet you can easily get 30-40k out of them.
Buddy is around 25k on some dual springs and XER lobes so he's kinda pushing it, but so far held up (not something I would recommend though).
