Default Buying through LKQ

Anyone have any luck buying through LKQ via ebay? There's nothing in my local area for engines and LKQ has some decent priced 6.0s. They said essentially the long block only is guaranteed in the purchase. Just wondering is anyone has purchased one from them and what all they received in the end.
Thanks in advance
Austin

I have an L96 that I got from LKQ that shipped from Canada down to me. Engine itself was in good condition and complete other than the FEAD. Had a cut harness (essentially just a long pigtail from the engine) that was useless but that's more for the yard's convenience than the customer.

Our sister company, biggest salvage company in the game...cant go wrong. When it comes to reliability...youre really just crossing your fingers that the previous owner took care of the truck....wouldnt have nothing to do with LKQ.

Thanks for the replies. I ended up getting a L96 through LKQ. Should be here on the 6th. So far I'm happy, great response time from LKQ with questions and the shipping info.

yeah I have worked with them before back when I was doing auto repair. pretty much the easiest to deal with. especially if you get a stinker, they take care of it asap.

Yeah I keep hearing good things about them. I was just worried that since they can only garuentee the long block that it might be missing a lot.

I mean they don't pull the engines with a scalpel and forceps in a lab. usually it's an underpaid dude with some basics, sockets wrenches etc...but you know anyone who's gotta do that stuff all day is quick to grab the sawzall and the forklift. keep an eye out for busted coils/crushed intake etc

usually all is well, but sometimes you get something that was obviously pulled at 3:15pm on a friday, lol
