5.3 piston rings im trying to find piston rings for my motor and am having a hard time. i can not find a full set of piston rings for a 5.3 that are file fit. i need file fit so i can gap them for boost. does anyone have any part numbers

someone should make a sticky please/ of parts list they used. i tried the serch function i need some for a rebuild of a 259,000 miles ones cracked buy not all the way through

Just buy some stock replacements. There gonna be tight any way and you can open as needed for boosted applications.
IIRC. The OEM top gap is really tight. I believe it was .018 on the top ring.
There all Moly Piston Rings so take your pic. IIRC, the Mahle were the least expensive.
