Default Opinion needed on cam 6.2l

My 09 escalade recently cracked block this weekend. I have an iron 6.2 I'm replacing it with. The current cam I have is comp 401 vvt (214/228 0.559/0.571 114lsa). I have another cam sitting in the garage which is (229/231 0.611/0.617 on 112lsa). Which cam should I use? It has 1 7/8 headers, 64cc heads, ported ls3 tb, 2800 circle d. I pull a car hauler maybe 4-5 times a year. It's a daily as well. Thanks for any advice

The 229 cam is certainly too big for towing/hauling.

That 214 cam look like it perform better as a daily driver/ towing rig over the 229 cam. The 229 cam not go really start making power till 4500 rpm minuim.....

Are there any shelf grind that would do me acct better. I have a small window to get it put together, can't really wait 2-3 weeks for a custom grind. If not I'll use my baby comp cam.

I would just keep the 214/228 VVT cam in it, personally.
