Factory rocker ratio for 5.3 is 1.7 and then for the larger engines ratio goes to 1.8
the diameter of your screw in studs (3/8)?(7/16) are to big to slide these rockers on.
And then I would wonder if the different valve angle would play a part in all this.
You might can get them to work, but it is not going to be just a bolt on. Personally I would just use an aftermarket 1.6 rocker that is designed for your heads. Good Luck

I read about a month ago about a retro fit kit to use LS rockers on the SBC heads; but I couldn't find anything online. Now I can't remember what company was making them either. The LS rockers have trunions drilled for an 8mm bolt, so I would imagine the kit requires the rocker bolt holes to be helocoiled for an 8mm thread and custom stands.

I have seen a couple applications where the smaller 8mm valves were used in a SBC head, along with beehive springs, keepers, and retainers from an LS.

The ratio is not the issue, it's the pivot distance (distance between the valve centerline and rocker's bolt/stud centerline)...
