5.3 cams Any well know cams that work great with a stock stock 2012 5.3 heads on it are 799 heads , I did a LS swap on my 94 c1500 motor is a 5.3 off a 2012 silverado, any good cams that are making good power and work well , my motor is stock just headers

Does your engine still have the DOD/AFM? If it does there will be some additional items to purchase along with the cam package to complete the swap.

yea it still has all that , I been told already about that but not sure of what all I need to get , I would like to learn more about what all I need to do , to be able to cam it

im currently in the same boat.... if im planning to keep the 58x reluctor wheel and just use a LPE convertor, do i still use a 4x cam gear? does a 3 bolt cam gear only come in 1x? if i were too convert it from 1 bolt, and would it affect me using the LPE convertor properly?
