Blown hesd gasket ls7
At first I thought the head wasn't torqued correctly so I had the heads resurfaced and put new head gaskets .. well now it's doing the exact same thing again but on 2 cylinders ?? I'm frustrated being its a c6 z06 and it's not an easy task to be taking apart .. has arp head bolts 13:1 compression a long with a 100 shot and e85 ???? I'm thinking head studs next
Have you checked the block with a quality long straight edge and feeler gauges or maybe a flash light? Any signs of detonation on the pistons or chambers? It's tough to tell from the pics, but it looks like from your pics it's burning clean.
Not yet bud but I'm gonna pull the heads off again so I'll do just that I'm pulling my heist out as to why though , car had never overheated and is low mileage factory ls7 short block

I've never had hands on a factory LS7 block. Do the threads for the lower head bolts come right to the top of the hole, or are they recessed down a ways? Possibly if bolts were over torqued, it could have uplifted the block surface in those spots. It's worth looking into when you get that straight edge on there.
