Default L99 to LS3 conversion + cam

think it's my first topic, but keep reading for a while.

i'm from Brazil and i'm doing a LS swap in my 68 Camaro.
Here we have lots of L99 out of Camaros and no LS3's, so I have to do a conversion.

My car is will be just for weekend fun and eventually some short trips.
Going to do a T56 + 3.73 gears

Can you recommend a conversion package + cam kit? I'd like some lope that doesn't affect driveability. I know it has low compression but i have to keep costs low.

It will not use stock PCM. Going aftermarket.

Thanks!

Do you have a target compression ratio?

That will play a role in cam selection.....

Don't you guys have E85 everywhere down there? Anyone know if the LS3 can easily be built for E85? Octane ratings are high, so you could actually run more compression with ethanol.

I know that but I'm planning to keep costs low.
If I would change pistons, i'd like to raise the CR up to 14:1 or more.
The engine needs to be rebalanced after pistons change?
BTW, we dont have E85, we have E100 everywhere.

tks

The engine components (piston, rods, crank) need to be balanced BEFORE installation........
