I'm looking at a 10 ss camaro with a magnuson supercharger at 8psi, the motor sounds 100 percent healthy until I took it up to 65 in 6th, I then gave half throttle to pass and heard a ping from the motor area. I noticed it once more at 40 in town in 4th. It is only under load and is otherwise healthy sounding. Please help me asap , is this a unsafe habit (putting a load on a ls3 ) or does this sound like something is actually wrong with the car???

If you looking to buy it, when you make the deal, get them to deduct $600 for a tune. Don't let the dealer tell you that they can do it. It can be pinging, might be running too lean or too much timing or bad gas---needs 93

I'd pull all the spark plugs and use a digital inspection camera to inspect those cylinders and pistons. A supercharged engine that pings (detonates) destroys the pistons and cracks ring lands.
