Is that normal for a 27K LS2 engine?
I'm in a process of swapping heads and cam into my 2006 LS2, it has 27K miles and it never driven so hard, I found the timing chain is a little sloppy, these LS2 timing chains aren't they suppose to be tight and strong?, or is this normal for a stock chain?
Oh, one more question, is it OK to add a LS3 timing chain tensioner? I got a brand new one laying around.
here is a short video of the chain :

The LS2 chain is a decent piece and you will not have any problems with it. If you want to upgrade, go with the IWIS chain. It is a really nice piece and is only like $80.
Keep the LS2 chain dampener.
