Default Adding VVT?

I'm planning on doing a AFM/DOD delete here eventually. what I'm wondering is if it would be possible to use the cam out of a 6.2 truck motor. deleting the active fuel management, but adding the variable valve timing. it's an 07 LH6 so I'm pretty sure it's a 58x reluctor wheel. would it be possible to add the vvt cam and phaser, and activate it in the tune?

I'm pretty sure you can. I would think you would want the ECM from a VVT truck and the model number of the VVT bolt. You need to use a new one (TTY bolt) but need to know which one to use.. Didn't the 6.2L truck engine come with VVT already?

Try contacting Patrick G if you want a custom VVT cam.

The 6.2 was VVT but no AFM. I'm wanting to use it as a replacement cam in my 5.3 which has AFM but no VVT. All the 5.3s that came with VVT also had AFM. AFM cams have different lobe specs on the AFM cylinders. Basically I want to swap active fuel management for variable valve timing.
