Glad you are back at it. I put my darts on with just a valve job and they work great as they are. My next engine will require porting them so I'm glad to see you back

Chad you did a FAST LS7 intake for me that had huge gains over the stock 102. Have you played around with any MSD intakes for the LS7?

Also, I would love to see a CID intake on the setup in this thread. A local guy is putting together a setup that uses one and I'm looking forward to his results.

I should have mine back on he dyno next week. Shooting for similar numbers with a plastic intake. I haven't pulled the trigger on an EWP yet, hoping I can leverage some E85 to clip 630rwhp.

Great work as usual my friend!

Awesome glad to hear..What was the gain do you remember? in bold your reading my mind man....gonna try that intake on my own car here soon..The msd intake is very easy to work with good gains...with that said i've spent a lot of time trying to get more out of the fast intake...I cant show the whole intake as i'm having a mold made soon...but here is a few pics, i just have one runner in but you get the idea..it made 24rwhp over my fully ported fast..20 more than msd intake did...

This was going with my runner no other changes

and the CID intake you speak of note how straight those runners are see light in all 4 ports. also runners going downhill and not much flat flooring= high rpm hp

and the way it will be ran. tests have already been done on the street with 5-6 cars diff from last setup...now this look isnt for everybody...but power was what we was looking for here and on a a budget...as the car never sees rain anyway. and its main use is drag and 1/2 mile events.

Ian was back at straightline to add fuel up top was going lean at speed. this is the graf. dotted line is preport solid line after porting of intake. only diff was first pulls i have in this thread was on 26'inch tires. he used 28's on this pull. i'm sure this affected the number some how much not sure. gained power and tq everywhere but lost 7hp in the last 400rpm's i'm sure some of that was from fattening the afr ...gained 34 tq to the wheels down low and 24 peak same dyno

Interesting results. Nice gains down low, now the little loss on top could be due to the rotational mass due to the larger tire?

Are the 26"s still available?

Is that with your ported heads? Which cam? What is the ICL? I expected to "peak" higher in the RPM range, something like 7300 or so.

yes all these numbers and all work posted is what I did to the heads an intake...the plan was to make power till 7300 with the air intake outside the hood it was showing 13.5 afr at 100 plus on wideband but on the dyno it didnt show lean...so had to be fattened up so it wont go lean at speed...I'm not a tuner so I'm not 100% sure how much the numbers it would throw off...the black lines at bottom show afr solid line is now, the dotted was before intake port...tires will affect numbers the 28" is ten lbs more than the 26...he is gonna be putting the 26's back on and do another pull...not sure when but i'll post when i get the numbers. even if the numbers fail it will be posted...traps speeds and track info i will share as well.. cam used is the lumberjack cam..the kpa is dropping to 94 up top..not sure why..but it did the same before we ported intake..i'll see if i can get Michael Hornback from straightline to answer some ?s..or to answer what i posted i'd like to hear his take as well.
