Default LQ4 in my 2500

So I'm thinking about pulling my stock LQ4 out of my 99 Silverado 4x4 and going through it as it has started burning a fair amount of oil and with 240+ miles I figure it would be a good idea to go ahead and rebuild it. My thoughts are since it's going to be out and I'm going to rebuild it maybe I will do some upgrading. I was thinking about putting a turbo on it with a spec'd cam and new valve springs to accommodate the turbo, and putting a tunable ECU in and aim for around 500rwhp with switching to E85 gas since it's readily available here in Iowa. Any thoughts on doing a setup like this?

I think it's pretty common. You shouldn't have much trouble finding info if you look around the truck or Forced Induction forums.
