Wrong cam??
My question...if using a Holley midrise intake (or perhaps Vic Jr), 4150-to-LS3 TB adapter with the existing cam, any ideas on how it'll run? I realize it should use a proper cam for the application, but curious who kind of performance to expect. i.e., will I see a minor hit at the top of the curve or will this be a generally awkward running / stumbling setup vs the intended ugly-*** intake?
Before the flaming begins, yes I know it'll be more prone to heat issues, likely less powerful and less MPG. And that I'm putting 'cool factor' over function (not normally my style). But I've got it stuck in my head...and it'll look much better with the 7-fin Corvette valve covers that are already on there...
