2007 ly6

Everything was going great until I went to install damper after my cam swap it went on 3/4 the way then locked up tight. looking for any help I can get.

Do you have any pics? Is your installation tool bottoming out? Something has to be interfering.

Take it back off.

Heat up the center with a blow torch for 60 seconds. Slide it on by hand until it bottoms out.

Got it tonight preheated the wife oven at 300 deg put damper in for 25 min and went in great thanks for the tips.

You want to be careful doing it that way because there is rubber "ring" that holds the outer portion of the balancer on. If that rubber gets hard and breaks free there is a chance that the outer ring may come flying off.
