Hi, I blocked off the relief valve in my oil pan on my G8. I want to go back to DOD while I have the heads off. Can the 09.5 ac/delco DOD lifters handle the added psi? I read somewhere that the mid 2000's trucks didn't have a relief valve in the pan, but still had DOD.
