Hey,

I grabbed a replacement rod off of ebay for an engine I have and the replacement rod has no casting numbers or marks on it.

I reached out to the seller and he said it was out of a 2008+ 5.3l but was unsure 100% of what year and model.

Anyone else see this?

I should have clarified, the bottom rod in the picture is my existing one (I know its a gen 4). The rod that I got to replace it is also a gen 4. My question is I have never seen a Gen 4 rod with no casting numbers on it. Has anyone ever seen this?

I have rods from an 09 LC9 (5.3L); same thing. No casting numbers either.
