Help,coolant problem
Help,coolant problem Hey guys, when ever I go wide open throttle, after a while (like driving home from the track) I get a low radiator light. When I drive it normally, I have no problem. I changed out the radiator cap with a new one.
This problem only happens at WOT. I am having to fill about 20 ounces the next morning. I am wondering if I have a leak in my head gasket since I don't see any evidence of coolant on the engine anywhere.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you suspect a head gasket go to your local napa store and buy a leak tester kit, pretty cheap and easy to use. You just fill the supplied bottle with the supplied liquid and put it over your radiator cap, if it changes colors it means exhaust gasses are getting into your coolant.
