LQ9 6.0 Help
I have a 6.0 that I am building for a S10. The truck will be driven daily and pulling my motorcycles from time to time.
The 6.0 has the 317 heads with the factory intake but no throttle body. I also have a TBSS intake and throttle body. Which intake would you suggest I use? I have headers for it also.
What I need help with is cam choice. One maybe that talks a little bit, but one that is daily friendly.
Would like to have 400hp or so at the crank.
I am sorry for the questions, I have always been a Pontiac guy. The LS stuff is new to me.

get it running, the swap will nickel and dime you like nobody's business.
After you get it in and running then decide if you want to do the cam swap, the LQ9
won't disappoint, pulling the Radiator and other stuff for the cam swap is no big deal
after you get it all running. My point is the cam swap will domino and turn into this and that,
(pushrod length, rocker arm upgrade etc...) and take that much more time to actually enjoying the ride, you should also consider a bigger Brake swap. My .02

I believe this motor is around 350-360 at the crank in stock form [ I think ].

Current Performance* has all your major or small needs for the Ls S10 swap also.

Btw, a LQ9 is Gen III motor not a Gen IV.
I sold my 317 heads and picked up a set of 243. I will be using a GM hot cam, along with a TBSS intake.
Waiting on my block, had to get it bored and cleaned up.
I hope to do this swap in November, I have two weeks off then.
