L96 stroker?

L96 stroker? Im wondering if the l96 is a good candidate for a 408 stroker? I already have a 2013 l96 that I got for cheap. I see lots of info on the older 6.0l strokers but not much on the l96.
My goals for the build are to put it in a 2008 Jeep Wrangler. I'd like to pull 500 lbs/ft or more around 2500-3000 rpm. It will never see 6500+rpm. I want it to be streetable, as this rig will be driven sometimes 2000+ miles to an event and back.
So, before I get into my other million questions... is the l96 a good block to base this build on?

The stroker will get you there but youll want to stay with a mid sized cam and a longer runner intake like the tbss/nnb or FAST LSXRT truck intake to make the torque that early.
