Spark plug recommendation
I’m getting closer to getting my swap motor all toghether and thrown into my truck.
I’m unsure if I should run stock plugs or upgrade them now since I’ll be ordering all my tune up parts soon.

You can use the stock heat 5 plug to do daily driving and get on it from time to time with the extra power, but you would probably be better served with a step colder plug 6. If your are going to be hitting a road course then you'll need more of an 8.
Stock plugs have small tips and are projector plugs, so not good for hard use or nitrous. NGK 4554 R5671A-8 is their race plug so no sharp spots and not a projector. These work well for the hard use. It's also a gasket seat over the taper seat.
If you want to spray 600HP of nitrous then go with the short ground strap Autolite AP3933 plugs.

CR should be about 10.7:1
Thanks CRF for the response.

You'll be fine with 6 heat range. If your plugs are easy to get at and you like working on your stuff then you can go with a V power and reduce the small parts to get hot. If you want to drive worry free for a few years run in Iridium plug.
Don't gap Iridium plugs as they have a coating on the ground strap to help them last as long as the tip. V-power plugs will color fast and a great for reading on drag strip pulls NA or not.
