Default Golen LS3 engine

Anyone use these guys' engine? i spoke to the owner and he seems like a good guy...I am thinking of getting a long block that has been run with, with dyno sheet....its an LS3 that makes 605hp....anyone with experience worked with these folks?

They were big in the LT1/4 community back in the late 90's. Quality control fell off for awhile but they seemed to have recovered over the past ten years or so.

Personally......I went with a Texas Speed long block.

I had Golen put together a 396 ci LT short block about 5 years Chad's very good to deal with and I would do business with again

An acquaintance got a LT1 383 stroker from Golen many years ago. He was happy with the engine. None of the accessory bolt holes and bolt holes in general were chased. The paint job on the motor was sloppy. The engine dyno 'd ~ 304 whp. The torque curve was nice. Hp fell on its face about 4,400 rpm. Convinced me to look else where for engine building for my projects. However, the owner of the 383 was happy with it.
