temp Of my oil kinda on the high need help I have a ls3 motor with a tr6060 doing around 480hp on the wheel with mods I use the engine on a drift car here is my problem
My oil temp on heavy driving goes up to 250deg have a oil cooler but nothing else on the line should I put a thermostat or something also should I use a specific oil cooler am ok changing my oil cooler for a better one it’s a 25 row oil cooler on now with no fan
Water temp is fine does not go up runs on a good temp
Need info on what’s a good set up to cool my engine oil
Also am running a transmission oil cooler with a external pump just checking if I should remove the external pump as I heard there is already a pump in the transmission is this correct not familiar my problem is when I turn the pump the gear box feels sticky or grind some gears but when it’s off no problem so should I just remove the external pump
