My car ran way better in open loop SD when I moved the IAT to the bumper valence. I used the Fbody sensor also. Idle fuel was rock solid instead of going to 18:1 due to heat soak.

Hey, everyone. Just wanted to update this thread. So, I've decided to go with the XAir intake which I purchased from another forum vendor (Bohnman). Its an over the radiator style intake with a short, straight shot to the throttle body. The comparison to my old intake is night and day. I'm eliminating about 2 feet of piping and about 95* of bend. Also, completely deleting the MAF out of the intake path, and relocating the IAT with a better sensor. The new filter location should make a DRAMATIC difference in actual intake air temps. Judging from the dyno results by cars substantially less modified than mine, I anticipate this bottleneck elimination will really help the car breathe. I will post the dyno results when the car is retuned and am expecting good things!
