Default Cam selection

Ok, block had to be bored .020 (5.3 gen 4 dod delete) stayed with flat tops . I have a set of 799 heads that I'm waiting to have done. This build will be in a S-10 weekend street toy that will see the track. I'll be running a 4l60e, again I'll choose the T.C. once my engine is complete and the numbers are in. I'd like to bump the compression up to 11.0:1. I need my heads milled, not sure how much. I'm also looking for a cam recommendation. This will not be a Daily driver. TIA

We have a full array of LS cams that would be great in your build! I think I would suggest our 2C, 224/236 .620/.620 117. This will be aggressive in a 5.3, while still drive good too!

Do you have valve reliefs in your pistons? If so you may be able to go a bit more aggressive.

Our 2C would be the biggest I would suggest to you for clearance. This will also depend on how much your heads are milled. You will always want to check PTV when installing a cam in a new engine to be sure you will not have impact issues.

Here is the link to look over the other options we do have for the LS family.
