Default 2012 silverado 5.3 build advice

Looking for advice on my build
either a 223/226 111 lsa tsp cam or 216/220
with a custom stall
ls7 lifters
stage 2.5 port and polish on 799 heads
DOD and vvt delete
tranny cooler
upgraded injectors and fuel pump
long tube headers with y pipe
will be building up my tranny more (6l80e )
hopefully one day a procharger

I am hoping for over 400 rwhp goal is eventually 500+
Does anyone else have a 5.3 lmg with 799 heads built up ?
What should I change or add?
( only parts i have now is the long tubes i am currently at 268 to wheels with my dyno tune)

Youre not going to get over 400hp unless you get a VERY aggressive cam.
Mid 300s is the area to shoot for. you wont be using any of that hp if all you do is daily drive and tow a little etc, so dont chase an hp number. there is also no need for a custom stall. there are so many out there ready to go that will fit your application no problem.
You also wont need injectors. or likely fuel pump either.
Just the dod/vvt delete, and a cam. stall is up to you. we offer a better cam than both in our high lift hot cam. has a mean idle, makes plenty of torque and great hp numbers also. use with a 3000 stall and youre done.
Let us know if you are interested.

I'm interested. It is just a daily but I'd still like to be able to have that extra hp and torque on tap for racing and keep everything else ?

Any of the higher lift cams like our high lift hot cam will add some rpm to the powerband which helps.

They drive the same but make more power everywhere. texas speed has the same idea in their high lift truck cams also. ours has a little better design in opening up the exhaust but keeping the intake lower to promote power everywhere and be easy to drive. Plus the idle sounds pretty good too.

We can get you set up the same way and carry all the parts on hand also as well as have plenty of the high lift hot cam on the shelf! $500 for cam and springs and reuses stock pushrods also.
