Default VVT good or bad ?

I have a 5.3 Silverado and I am wanting to know if I should keep vvt or delete it I've been told to keep it and to delete it. But idk what I should do

Youll get mixed reviews. You have to sacrifice cam specs and lobe design for vvt. Also most tuners either dont know how to tune it or wont take the time to. Ive personally seen gains over going to a straight std cam style vs vvt on so many setups ill hardly ever recommend vvt. Also its a straightforward swap from vvt to non. Just replace the cam gear and front cover that you already have off vs fighting the vvt cam phaser to put in the limiter block then hope your tuner has the right vvt files etc.

Ok I was jw I've gotten so many mixed.reviews but I still plan on doing the ws6 218/227.
I have also been told that is to big of a split by one person and that its a good cam by several lol

You, in another thread you started, asked about the availability of a 5.3/High Lift Hot Cam dyno sheet.
Maybe Tech@WS6store can answer that?
