Which cam sensor for ls2 conversion?

I’m having issues with my car not firing on all cylinders. So I went to the Chevy dealership and got a LS2 Cam Sensor from a 06’ GTO. I tried it and it pops and backfires with that cam sensor. So it’s not the same sensor that I have now. I bought a ls2 conversion kit from TSP back in 07’ and it’s what I’m still using. Figure it couldn’t hurt to replace it. So anyways, simple question. What part number do I need from GM for a ls2 conversion in a f body.

doesn't seem like there's a difference for LS2's, they all use the same sensor from what i can look up. Some have a harness extension, but FWIW it should still be the same sensor design.

what are you using for engine control? does the engine have a 24x or 58x reluctor?
