Default JE piston rings

Iím building a 434 and Iím gonna use JE pistons, anybody have opinions on JE rings vs total seal

I don’t regret using GFX rings with my Wiseco slugs in my 434”, but it seems all the high end builds are using Total Seal, and there’s a reason they are. I’d go Total Seal if I had mine apart today. Ring seal is everything in this game.

I like the JE pistons. I just got a set for an ls3 bore and a 4.1 stroke. There lighter than my old ls2 pistons, thin moly top ring, bigger skirted to the wear side of the wall and have a wear coating. They even measure consistent enough to drop right in my gmpp ls3's hone. All the good American company's seem to just get better all the time! The prices are not all that bad either. Nice when you can save on an expensive trip to the machine shop!
You cant beat the total seal ring.
