I have a 2013 l77 engine that started to tick and throw misfire codes I figured it was afm so I had it turned off and put seafoam in the oil to free up the lifter. That didn't work so I pulled off the valve cover and turned the engine over by hand while looking at all the rocker arms and they all moved. After looking at the spark plugs it was obvious that the misfire was coming from cylinder 7. Then I pulled the intake rocker arm off cylinder 7 and found that the push rod was bent badly.
I put in a new push rod and it still ticked. Took it all back apart and it bent that one too.
So what in the world is happening here?
