upper timing gear

upper timing gear
I understand that the gen IV LS2, 6;0l engine produced in 2005 used a 24t relucter and a single hump upper timing gear. My question is does this model use the SAME cam position sensor as later gen IV engines that have a 58t reluctor and a four hump upper timing gear?

Not to derail the thread, but are you Shirl Dickey? Inventor of the E-Racer mid-engine 2-place canard aircraft?

The Eracer is a two place side by side retractable canard. For more info go to <eraceraircraft.com>. Thanks for the CPS info, I expected that to be the case. I'm dealing with a problem with my 24t gen IV LSX where with the cps plugged in the engine goes way flat and unplugged it runs fine...

OK, then Wiki was wrong. I had always thought by the shape of the cockpit canopy it was 2-place, but did not know for sure.
BTW, I have thought since I've been learning about LS engines that they would be a natural in The Eracer. All aluminum, good power density, VERY durable, etc.
