Default BASIC AFM Delete

Looking to delete AFM in an LC9 for turbo use. Already have MLS head gaskets and head studs. Who sells a basic AFM delete kit so I don't have to pay for these items again?

Also, is keeping the high-volume pump a good idea to help feed the turbo? Or still replace with regular pump?

Both Cam Motion and TSP have good AFM/DOD delete kits. They can be customized.

If you going to delete DOD and your motor is apart just go ahead and tap the towers in the Valley by using a 3/8-16 tap, this fits the existing holes without having to drill, then use 3/8s set screws with some pipe thread sealant to block level and never worry about oil pressure loss from the towers and it lets you use whatever valley cover you want. All of this can be done for very little money and set screws are available at your local hardware store.

If you already have the gaskets, all you need then is lifters, lifter tray, valley cover and camshaft. You can source the valley cover from a gen 3 if you tap the towers and use set screws to close them off. I haven't been able to find a kit with only those items so you may have to piece it together. Summit does have lifter/tray kit but all the DOD kits have the gaskets with them.

What’s gonna keep dirt/water out of the knock sensor holes of the Gen3 cover on a gen 4 engine? I’m not sure the oil pressure sender would work either?

I don't think the Gen III valley cover will fit correctly. The perimeter pattern is different.

Yeah I'm wrong on the valley cover. Gen3 won't fit. They're pretty cheap anyways.

Any logic in keeping the high-volume DOD pump for the extra lube required by the turbos?

I like using the DoD pumps personally. Its like a free upgrade. You shouldn't run the oil pan from a DoD engine without removing the bypass, as it keeps oil pressure from going over a certain PSI.
