Misfire # 2 302 I own a 2002 WS6 Pontaic Trans Am. Car has 17k ,miles hardly drive it . Sits next to my 1981 Trans am . I took it out a while back and discovered a misfire in number 2 cylinder , changed coil but still had a misfire. I checked the wires it seams some creature was in there by the intake. But did not see any disturbance with the wires I don't think the plugs are bad since it only has 17 k miles. Any ideas. Thanks

First swap the wire to a different cylinder and recheck the misfire code to see if it has moved.
If the misfire changes to a different cylinder then it means it's the wire.
However if there are no changes to the misfire, then change the spark plug. If the misfire is still there then you need to check other things.
How cool would it be if it was something as simple as this?
Rule out the basics first.
