Default VVT Delete or Keep

Just built a turbo kit for my 2010 GMC Sierra LC9 and bought a gen 4 oils drain timing cover from motion race works and noticed it's a vvt truck. Is it worth keeping vvt? Can I just put a non vvt cam gear on the stock cam and run the gen 4 non vvt cover?

Thanks for the advice

Might want to ditch VVT for turbos. It adds another layer of trickery to the tune process which is risky with boost. I've never tried VVT and boost so maybe someone has more updated info but I wouldn't bother with it unless your an ace tuner
