Dart SHP Pro Iron 434
Thanks for the comments so far guys.
And yes it does sound wicked.
Actually I think I have one of the best sounding LS's around. (Not being bias)
The exhaust system I have plays a big part.
If you listen to that start up video on a bluetooth speaker you can tell the the sound of the engine has a lot of presence.
I have heard so many LS's around here and you would be surprised how crappy a lot of them sound.
The belt tensioner is also being ugraded from OEM to an aeroflow.
A member on here strongly advised me to do it due to the failures he had with the OEM version.
My builder was going to message me the next day recommending we upgrade it so all good.
As for the dyno tune there is a chance it will be starting tomorrow and finished this week.
If not, definitely early next week guaranteed.
The video I posted was the very first startup.
It all went very well.
Engine is smooth and quiet, no concerning noises, no leaks, no electrical issues, oil pressure is good also.
Engine will be started tomorrow to check hot lash settings and will be adjusted if necessary.
The oil pressure sensor is also being re routed to the bottom oil feed because the oil flow in the top end was restricted.
I'm happy that the engine is all good and it's almost near completion.
It's been a long road...

Sounds good man. Dyno time, then
Someone i know bought an adjustable belt tensioner recently for their LS. It is made in USA, i'm trying to think of the brand but i like it a lot, very well made. I don't like some of the aeroflow stuff, some of their parts are quality and others are too chinesium for my liking.
ICT billet is the brand. I've also bought some of their other parts and they're very high quality and surprisingly also well priced.

I had an ict billet tensioner. Very good quality but it would not work with my gz motorsports vacuum pump. Had to get a katech one. Also very nice but the shape worked with the pump.
Hey guys,
Yes I have gone rec ports now.
I couldn't handle all the off idle torque.
I should have listened.......
No update as of yet since my last post.
As soon as I have some worthwhile information I will post.
I love my fans.

Say what you wanna say bout thier style, but these guys must know how to build some motors. They beat the snot out of em. Unlike the damned eggshell builds stateside that blow up idling in your driveway. Im a fan of this video.

Yes please show me but only at part throttle.
We have some killer builders down here man.
I do find it puzzling in the USA how there are so many threads of engine builders screwing up builds.
Same with tuners. There seems to be a lot of clueless ones out there too.
You seriously want to import one of those engines?
Another great builder down here is Dandy Engines too.
We love you too, lol. don't worry if someone came in trying to start **** with you, we'd have your back
Try listening to it with some headphones or through a bluetooth speaker.
It sounds deeper and more menacing.
Hopefully the tuning is done this week but we will see what happens.
