Retro fit vvt to ls2?

Retro fit vvt to ls2? I have the 58x wheel and e67 ecm with the vvt folders in it. Am I able to add the cam parts to use vvt?
I'm looking to make the most out of a conservative cam for longevity.

Thank you to Che70velle, it can be done. New cover, actuator, actuator pigtail, and hv oil pump. Just a nice option to pick up some power without sacrificing anything, besides cam/spring pressure/pv/clearance limitations of course....

Well I have been advised by a trusted cam manufacturer to not run vvt even with a mild cam. Higher than stock spring pressures along with the limiter that is necessary I guess with even a mild cam just makes it unattractive.
It would be neat to see valve to piston timing and know exactly how much it would need to be limited.
Not sure why I see huge cams listed for vvt (620+ lift) if it doesnt work well, but I'm told that alot of guys complain about problems with those cams and vvt.
Advancing and retarding the cam def has a huge effect on power at the far ends of the curve.
Everyone just seems to discard it when its another avenue for power and efficiency. Very little info out there.
Cam spec'd for my driving style is titan 1.
