I have a Frankenstein motor. LS2 short block (stock bore) with Mahle forged flat tops w/reliefs and ARP rod bolts. LS3 top end (cam, intake, throttle body, heads, LS9 injectors). Heads have 1.8 roller rockers and BTR dual .650 springs. CroMo stock length pushrods. Stock covers with PCV delete (4 corners and down). Dual exhaust with custom medium-long tube headers - 1-7/8" primaries and 3" collectors, and 3" back with race bullets. Rig is 3800 lbs, TH400, 5.83 gears, 37" tires.
So my question is, is this a good cam for this setup? I know I won't be able to use bigger ratio rockers, as the springs will bind. I do have the stockers with the trunnion upgrade sitting on the shelf that I can swap in.
Honestly, not worried about tuning or stall - I can send the high stall converter in or buy new. I'm more concerned with is this a good cam for this setup, or is there a better option?
