Default Valve Stem Seals on LS2

Hi,

I need to do the stem seals on my LS2 and want to ensure I order the correct seals. The seals were replace by the previous owner 2 years / 2000 miles ago. I see on summit racing there are possible two different types. I have 243 heads, does this narrow my choice down?

just want to ensure I get the correct ones and the best available as I don’t want to be having to change again.

Cheers Richard

Do you have a cam? Or any other mods? 243 heads are great, if your going in, maybe you can do a btr spring kit while your in there.

Thanks Rkupon1.

Everything is standard GM. I want to resolve my blue smoke issue before spending anymore on the engine incase the stem seals don’t solve my issue.

Cheers

Thanks 01CamaroSSTx

I live in the UK so parts for LS engines are not as readily available. Is it the top hat seals that incorporate to valve seat as per attached picture that I need?

thanks

thanks Richard

Yup, those are a typical replacement seal. Come in some gaskets sets, can't remember what brand. They go over the guide, then the spring goes on top of them.
