Default ls2 to lq9 style block conversion check.

So im going with an iron block to replace my ls2. The only thing i think I have to do is tap the side of the iron block for the knock sensors, and plug the oil dipstick hole correct?

I am assuming ill tap the iron block right above the oil pan in the same spot that its tapped on my aluminum block.

1. anyone know the thread size/pitch of the bolts for the knock sensors? I need to hit lowes for a tap most likely.
2. Anyone know what the best thing to plug the oil dipstick hole would be?
3. Is there anything else ill need to address before dropping the motor in?
4. I think there is a hole for the alternator bracket I have to tap too. That one should be obvious.

Its going in my 07 Trailblazer SS.

Thanks in advance!
