Summit Cranks and Rods - How good are they? Summit sells their own house brand forged cranks and rods for $700 and $500, respectively. You can also buy them together under a single part number for $1200 (not sure why there is no package deal, but whatever). And for the same price, you can get either the crank or the package with the stock 3.622 inch stroke or a 4.00 inch stroke. Likewise, the rods are a available as either 6.125/.927 or 6.098/.944 rods. Has anyone here used these? Are they of decently good quality?
