What size were the dyno headers used? I see at least one step. Also a single stage external oil pump with a stock front timing cover? Cam 280/305-117-ish?

They are 2”-2-1/8” headers. This block has no provisions for an oil pump and has to be used with an external pump. Yep, ish on that cam.

Be interesting to see the power difference between the dyno headers and the ones going to be used. Production car front clip?
Must have some lift to prevent choke to get the fill up with that little (?) compression. Nice work on the CID. 1250+cfm Dominator carb?

Wow that's crazy. Congrats! Makes my 427 look like a piece of crap.

Since those heads came out, I have always see negative things about them on the forums. I know Tony Mamo uses them but I assume he uses a porters version.

It's easy to blame something when you don't know how to utilize it... When someone slaps a bunch of **** together, gets a cam from this guy, heads from that guy, intake from another guy, you usually end up with a bunch of mis-matched stuff. Ideally the system needs to be designed as a whole.

If my heads are lacking in one area, I can compensate for that in another area. So on and so forth.

With the correct components and guy tuning it, it should be pretty close. But with the injectors where they are, it’ll be down a bit from the carb.

Truth right there. I’ve seen the TFS castings called “BS HEADS” more times than I can count. I just laugh...

If he builds the headers that I want him to, it "should" make some more power. But since it won't be run without nitrous, it's a moot point. It's about a 1300 cfm Dale Cubic carb.

Me too, but I doubt i'd want to pay for them. I was running numbers on mine, and pipemax says i'd benefit going to 2.25 primaries, but I'd need a chassis swap for that to work. The way yours is running, you'd benefit more than i would.
