Default 4th gen 5.3 fbody balancer

Anyone had a issue with running a fbody balancer on a aluminium gen 4 5.3? It appears that the balancer is 1/8 inch in too far. Are all lower timing timing gears oil pump gears the same width

1/8" "in too far". As compared to what? Are you using the truck accessory drive?
As far as the other ? The answer is yes.

Fbody accessories both my alternator and and ps pulley are sticking alittle bit further then my balancer. Probably not a 1/8 th. Its jumping one rib.

I tried to measure with a feeler guage. Something like .014-.016

If you've had the p/s pulley off, be sure it's pressed back on to the proper location.
Also, check the balancer, to be sure the belt side is not loose, slipped on the hub. [Rubber damper matl sheared loose].
How was the balancer put on?

I haven't had ps pulley off but ill check it. Balancer was put on with one of the all thread deals that has 2 washers and a nut. Then a arp bolt to hold it on.
