Rocker Arms Trying to decide on rocker arms. I plan on revving the motor to 7k max I like the trunnion upgrade on the stock rockers, but the motor had a lot of miles on it so i would assume my rockers have a lot of wear on them. I came across MELLING MR1341 It seems that these are a stock replacement but they come with hardened pivot and heavy duty lock rings, Pretty much the same as doing a trunnion upgrade. Complete set of these cost about $140. What do you guys think of using this with my setup? Also runing ls7 lifters any thoughts on that with my setup? Motor is NA right now but planning on a power adder later.

I wouldn't hesitate to run their rocker arms. I originally installed a set of Comp Cams trunnions on some LS7 rockers and they failed with only 1K. Ended up going with the Straub bushings and put about 5K on those before swapping to an adjustable.

We have a couple of options for you. If you're looking at doing the trunnion upgrades yourself we have you covered in our LS line. We have a bushing and a needle-bearing option. Check out our trunnion bearing removal/install tool. This will make life easier when you take on the job.
