My goal was to build a stout na motor that could make up to or at 500whp. I plan on going nitrous or boosted later on so rings have already been gapped. I’ll try to keep this thread up to date on dyno numbers and track times it actually puts down for anyone interested. This is my first LS full rebuild so I’m really interested to see how it performs. Before it made 402whp and 387ft-lb on sbe with the same cam and heads and a LS1 intake with stock 22lb injectors. It’s a 1968 Firebird dad picked up years ago and passed it down to me to restore because he never had the time to. I’ve started on it one time but haven’t gone back to it since I started building my Camaro. Needs some love has about 4 different layers on paint and bondo in some areas but the interior is almost perfect just missing some small pieces would like to turn it into a show piece at some point.
