Thoughts on Texas Speed
Good luck with whatever you decide, but listen to the guys on here about porting the rectangular ports. I'm not an expert or even a novice, but I have watched enough of Richard Holdener's YT videos to have picked up some knowledge. I would suggest watching Richard Holdener's channel, you can search through his videos specifically for the rec port head testing with various cams.

A cam'ed 6.0 with ported and MILLED LS3 heads is better.
I know several of the guys are telling you to leave the heads alone, but having been there.....IMO, a 225*+ intake duration cam is gonna love CR in the range of 11.3:1.
Slap some Cometic head gaskets with a compressed thickness of .040" will provide optimal quench (in the .035" range) and you'll have a VERY nice driver.

BTW....I got my stroked LS3 (and PRC heads) from Texas Speed. For me....their parts and customer service is top notch.
Best of luck!

Possibly a bowl blend and top notch multiangle valve job would help things, but the ports themselves will handle a lot of power before general porting would be needed. Milling to adjust compression is determined by your desired compression.

264 to 268 cc is a good on avg # for cleaning up of the Bowls and removing the as cast look of the runners. It looks ported but it's more like a clean up on isle 9 with the casting bumps removed in the runner.

I did not mean not to mill the heads. I just meant do not port them. By all means, do a VJ and a bowl blend and a mill. Just don't hog the runners out, IMO.

As a matter of fact, I'm pretty certain that they mostly just smoothed out the turns and retained the stock (of very near stock) intake port size.
