Engine oil

Which engine oil would you choose for a drag car 10w40 or 20w50? What do I need to do to get high oil pressure and high oil volume? Even though I am going to install a high volume and high oil pressure oil pump.

Engine oil depending upon bearing clearance, but I run driven GPI 5W 20

Brand will also depend on the fuel you're going to run as well. Some oils don't react well with certain fuels. Found out that Methanol and VR1 don't mix well. Possible cause for pitting on a crankshaft and delamination on main bearings.

I run 20-50w VR1
