Need advice.

Default Need advice.

I got a 02 Camaro SS with a 410 ci ls with 102 mm turbo. We took it out tonight and the rest brakes strated dragging really really bad. We had to drive it back was putting a huge load on the new engine. The car didn't get above 210 degrees and trans temp was only 140. I got it home finally and the oil pressure was only at 30 at idle and there was a little white foam on top of the dipstick tube. The oil is clear in color it was blue when I put it in. I use Shafer's oil. I never had it that hit oil temp worse I'm not sure what the oil temps were though. I was concerned that I may of hurt the new engine with that really low oil pressure with 20 w 50 oil in it. Engine was built lose for the boost. Any advice would be awesome. Thanks

It should be fine, but cut the filter open and see if there is any trash. 30 at idle in a loose motor is fine. You should have had it towed home, not worth to maybe hurt the new motor.
